My name is Vanessa Pereira and I am originally from Blantyre-Malawi, Africa and came to the U.S when I was young. I am currently enrolled as an undergraduate at Indiana University Bloomington where I am pursuing a B.S in Informatics with a minor in Business. I am part of the ProHealth undergraduate research team where I currently work with Professors Katie Siek, Patrick Shih and Annu Prabhakar. I am interested in studying how extensive technologies in health can help create prominently positive outcomes in the wellness of individuals. My research interest is Human Computer Interaction, health Informatics and Computing.
